Kindred Spirits' featured artist Daniel Stolfi will lead students in an exploration of puppet making, puppet-craft and storytelling. The work will draw on an extensive range of object performance elements, from rod, hand, and string puppets through to mask and narrative performance. The repertoire includes myths and legends from world cultures as well as original and personal stories. The workshop will be hands-on and interactive, allowing for the imaginative exploration of materials, craft, content, creativity and performance. Recycled materials will be used as basic building blocks as much as possible.
