The Jazz play the final three games of the regular season at home over the next week. Things have been so tight for Utah and a handful of other teams in the Western Conference that three wins or three losses could be the difference between a decent playoff seed or figuring out how many pingpong balls you’ve got in the draft lottery. Since the lockout-shortened season has packed 66 games into 121 days, fatigue and injury have abounded. It’s anybody’s guess as to who will actually be on the roster for the Jazz or their opponents. Utah has been so short-handed at times, fans may want to show up with their own gear in case they’re needed.
The coming week may mark the end of the season, or the Jazz could outperform all expectations from the beginning of the season and claw their way into the playoffs. (Geoff Griffin)
