For comic-book enthusiasts, the name Devil’s Daughter conjures up images of the spandex-sportin’ succubus of the Marvel Universe. But for booze enthusiasts, Devil’s Daughter (533 S. 500 West) brings to mind cheap drinks, wood-smoked barbecue and live music. For being around just a year and a half, Devil’s Daughter has made a solid contribution to Salt Lake City’s nightlife scene. Every weekend, DD provides an eclectic musical mish-mash of everything from Lounge Session house music to live bands like Tony Holiday & the Velvetones (Nov. 9) and the Ugly Valley Boys (Nov. 10). While you’re there, try the $5 signature shot, Up Inside Her, which consists of a healthy mix of Fireball, Apple Pucker and cranberry juice, or just sip on the always $3 wells and micros.
