If you love ceviche, you’ll love Del Mar in Salt Lake City. Try the ceviche de mero, which is tender fish, mussels, octopus, calamari and more served with sweet corn and onions that complement the zesty spices. Portions are generous, and plates seem designed to be passed around, so don’t keep that lomo saltado (strips of beef marinated in soy sauce, vinegar and spices, stir-fried with onions and tomatoes, served with steamed rice and french fries) to yourself. The restaurant itself is clean and airy, with an open kitchen where you can see your meal being prepared.
