Remorse is never enough in the killing and torturing of a child, really nothing can. Whether or not you perceived that you were intentionally killing them, doing something that could lead to that makes you completely responsible. She took a life of someone completely innocent and defenseless; the worst kind of crime. I have no sympathy for her. She should pay with her entire life. The only mercies in this case are that she remains behind bars, she can't hurt any other children, and that child doesn't have to be raised by her. There is something wrong in our country when people have more time in prison for drugs than for cold blooded murder of a child.
