Highland Drive Singers: Cruzrs Karaoke
While most bars/clubs in Salt Lake City focus on dancing during Saturday nights, a few gems like Willie’s, The VFW and Cruzrs (3939 S. Highland Drive) bring the real party with karaoke. Entourage Entertainment hosts the event that gets a dance floor packed like nothing else— truly. Entourage DJ Vinny Genovesi, aka Vinny Dangerously, recently hosted a Saturday singoff to rival all others.

The Depot Does: New Years
“New York City Legend” DJ Rockaton will be mixing in 2010 along with Utah house artists Dmitry Ko, Timone and Nathan Bills. Hit up Shaun at 760-594-7166 for VIP table reservations in the excellent upper tier at one of Salt Lake City’s best venues for drink and dance, The Depot (400 W. South Temple).

Harry O’s Masquerade Ball
Black and White masquerade balls don’t get any more decade-ending decadent than Harry O’s (427 Main, Park City) Fourth Annual New Years ball—a “black-tie affair.” This event will be hosted by Playboy Playmate and former Pussycat Doll Rachel Sterling with sounds courtesy of DJ Irie. Get a jump on the Sundance celebrity-watching early.

Coming Full Circle (Lounge)
DJ K, DJ St1cK E, and DJ Dizz will get your head spinning in circles for Circle Lounge’s (328 South State) 2nd annual New Year’s countdown extravaganza. This is guaranteed to attract a huge crowd of hard bodies, so show up early. $15 cover for guys, $10 for ladies.
