Correction: City Weekly has published three stories that incorrectly described the relationship between iWorks president Jeremy Johnson and Utah Attorney General Mark Shurtleff [“Hard News,” Sept. 30, 2010; “The Company You Keep,” March 11, 2010; and “The $50,000 Question,” June 19, 2008]. The stories should have reported that the Division of Consumer Protection, not the Attorney General’s Office, conducted a civil investigation into complaints against iWorks. While the Attorney General’s Office provided legal counsel to the Division of Consumer Protection in matters relating to that investigation, the AG’s Office was not a participant in any investigation. The division, acting independently and without involvement from the Attorney General’s Office, dismissed administrative citations against iWorks in December 2007.
