Club Fed wants you!
We’re excited to be launching a new club, called Club Fed—a place for food enthusiasts to meet and attend special tastings, restaurant openings and other culinary events, as well as receive food-friendly newsletters, coupons, updates and other tasty things. Club Fed will also be a place where you’ll be able to do some restaurant criticism of your own. Best of all, it’s free! Simply go to CityWeekly.net and click on “Create Account” in the right-hand corner of the home page. If you already have an account at CityWeekly.net, login and on your profile page, check the “Club Fed” box. That’s all there is to it! We’ll be announcing the inaugural Club Fed event soon, so stay tuned.

D’lish @ Nordys
D’lish, “a one-of-a-kind soda pop and sweet shop,” opens this week at the Fashion Place Mall in Murray, in the space Nordstrom used to occupy. During the grand opening, through Nov. 6, guests can get in on free samplings of caramel apples, specialty churros and more. I’m told that D’lish is inspired by old-fashioned soda fountains and will feature items such as shaved ice, handmade Italian sodas, funnel cake fries, freshly prepared cotton candy, flavored popcorn, candied nuts and so on. Todd Welker, co-founder of D’lish said, “As soon as people take a sip of the creamsicle soda or a bite of the funnel-cake fries, they’re instantly taken back to the care-free days of their youth. Now they can pass along their childhood favorites to their children.” Fashion Place Mall, 6191 S. State, Murray. ItsDlish.com
