Nuclear power must be a primary source of our future “green” energy plans [“The Nuclear Deal,” May 26, City Weekly].

Please know that I have been and remain a strong advocate and active participant to reduce, recycle and save the planet. Of course, there are obvious concerns, procedures and risks when using nuclear power. Nothing in life is free.

In fact, on April 7, City Weekly printed an honest and true Straight Dope article on the safety of nuclear power titled “No Fry Zone.”

Be green. Don’t be ignorant. Don’t be a pussy about nuclear power.
