This week offers as varied a slate of events for righteous civic fulfillment that one could ask for. Get local throwing your input behind the Wasatch Canyons Master Plan, and then get global raising money for impoverished Peruvian children. Close out the weekend with a charity walk for the Utah Brain Injury Association.

The Wasatch Canyons Tomorrow Process Thursday, May 14
For the first time since 1989, the Salt Lake County Wasatch Canyons Master Plan is up for revision. Local government wants your say on the future of local canyons including City Creek, Emigration, Red Butte, Millcreek, Parley’s, and Big and Little Cottonwood. These workshops will allow you, John and Jane Q. Citizen, to leave your marks on the policy governing canyon issues ranging from development to recreation to watershed protection.

Fund-raiser for Q’ero School Friday, May 15
