But it’s only as frustrating and dysfunctional as the people who are elected to run it, so this election, choose carefully. This weekend, you can also attend a rally and candlelight vigil for a young woman killed by West Valley City Police in 2012. Later in the week, attend the fall fundraiser for environmental advocates HEAL Utah and learn more about efforts to lobby leaders to scrub the gunk out of Utah’s dirty air.
