Bush Scarier Than Obama

It boggles my brain that the same people who supported the Republican agenda for the past eight years are only now complaining about an intrusive government.

These same people went along happily as Bush and cronies created the biggest government since FDR. At least FDR was creating jobs and infrastructure for the country. As is apparent from Dick Cheney’s current tour of rhetoric and events such as Katrina, the Bush administration had no real interest in the country. Its only real goal seems to have been the consolidation of power.

The next time we hear about the scary Barack Obama administration, let’s stop and remember what has been going on for the past eight years and how we got where we are today.
