Morrissey, the 53-year-old velvet-voiced songwriter, has stated that after 30 years of making music, he plans to retire at 55, Billboard.com reports. Morrissey says that he’s been aging a lot recently, but I have little doubt that this 33-city U.S. Tour will show any signs that the musical idol and inspiration to countless musicians is going all AARP on us.
The Salt Lake City stop is scheduled for Nov. 4 at Kingsbury Hall. According to a press release, tickets go on sale this weekend.
