Need some help plotting your weekend festivities? We got what you need right here, from Tony-winning musicals to local hip-hop.

Friday

The live reggae machine that is Afro Omega headlines a gig tonight in Ogden, so stop by Brewski's and throw down a couple in the name of Rastafari. In Salt Lake City, the Utah Arts Alliance is hosting its annual Freedom Festival, which will include food, music, poetry and info on how to create positive change in the community, and it's all free! Mark Dago (pictured) will be delivering the live hip-hop at Mo's Neighborhood Grill Friday night, while the Pioneer Memorial Theater opens its latest production, Black Comedy. Reggae dudes Sober Down headline a show at The Hotel, while saucy Broadway hit Spring Awakening, featuring tunes by Duncan Sheik, opens a two-day run at Kingsbury Hall.

Saturday

The Eccles Center in Park City hosts a lecture by renowned educator Sir Ken Robinson, while Caleb Chapman and the Voodoo Orchestra headline a show at the Murray Theater. Quirky popsters Guster headline Saturday night at In the Venue, and you can read our interview with the band right here. Utah Opera's new take on Hansel and Gretel opens its run Saturday night at Capitol Theatre.

Sunday

Kick back, relax. And if you must go out, consider hitting up a scalper for tix to Robert Earl Keen's sold-out two-night run at The State Room. Should be a good ol' time.
