Former City Weekly intern Dan Fletcher has moved to the Big Apple, now working for Vice magazine. Vice's science site, Motherboard.tv, just released a mini-documentary on the privately owned Mars Desert Research Station located on the San Rafael Swell near Hanksville. These folks hope to one day be the ones to colonize Mars and are practicing 24/7 wearing spacesuits and living in a remote "hab" environment watching their water consumption while living off Bisquick pancakes and ghee. (Apparently, no Star Trek replicators)
