New Doctor Added to Discipline Database

June saw only one disciplinary action against a Salt Lake City anesthesiologist, who surrendered his license for unprofessional conduct.

Dr. Morgan Kia Grant was sanctioned by the Utah Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing in June. The discipline note is vague except to say that the action was based on “unprofessional conduct” affecting his license to practice medicine and to administer controlled substances. Grant voluntarily surrendered his licenses and is not allowed to reapply for a medical license for a period of five years.
