On Feb. 15, you could have a one-on-one meeting with Salt Lake City Mayor Ralph Becker and have 10 whole minutes to pitch the Mayor on how to improve the city. Or bitch about what’s not working in the city.
As part of Becker’s open-door policy, starting today, the Mayor’s office will be accepting appointments for one-on-one meetings between 4 and 6 p.m. on Feb. 15. By scheduling a 10-minute block now, you can get a chance to bend Becker’s ear on subjects ranging from electronic billboards to bike lanes. Residents are encouraged, however, not to use the time to try to appeal the decision of a city board that may have ruled against them.
Time slots will be scheduled on a first-come, first-serve basis, and can be done by calling 801-535-7704 or by visiting the mayor’s office in person at the Salt Lake City & County Building, 451 S. State.
