Take your lunch break to the Hill and join the League of Women Voters tomorrow for a crash course on navigating the 2012 Legislature.
If the legislative session seems daunting and intimidating, never fear, the Utah League of Women Voters is here to give you an easy understanding of how to follow issues on the Hill and speak to your representative about the issues that could affect you and your family the most. Besides giving you an insider’s guide to the Hill, League representatives will also discuss important bills to follow during the session.
Check it out, Wednesday, Jan. 25 from 11:30 a.m.- 1:30 p.m. at the Utah State Capitol, 350 N. State, at the “Public Lounge” Utah State Capitol Room 130. If you can’t make the meeting tomorrow, you can still keep tabs on the happenings on the Hill by getting in touch with the League’s Legislative Action Corps, who can partner you up with someone to help show you around if there’s a subject you’re really invested in.
