Salt Lake City’s municipal election is just around the corner, and tomorrow you can hear incumbent councilman J.T. Martin square off with challenger Charlie Luke on who can serve District 6 better.
Planning commissioner and council-challenger Luke came out on top of the primary elections last week with 45.59 percent of the vote, beating out incumbent Martin, who garnered 28.89 percent of the vote. The two will square off in the November election. Between now and then, it’s up to voters to educate themselves on where the candidates stand on the issues.
