The immigration debate between the student activists of United for Social Justice and members of the Utah Minuteman Project will begin tonight at 6:00 p.m.---

The Utah Minuteman Project and United for Social Justice are on opposite ends of the spectrum in the immigration debate. So far apart it seemed the differing points of their respective supporters could only be shouted at each other. Tonight however the two sides join for a lively but civil debate on how the state and country ought to respond to the immigration question.

The debate is free and open to the republic. The Minuteman Project will be represented in the debate by Eli Cawley (pictured above) and Mike Sanchez and USJ will be represented by William VanWagenen and Gregory Lucero. The debate will be moderated by Mark Alvarez.

Check it out Tonight at The Salt Lake City Main Library, 210 E. 400 South, Feb. 7, 6 p.m.
