There’s not just one, but two major local roller-derby bouts happening on St. Patrick’s Day—and neither one happening in Salt Lake City.
In Layton tomorrow at the Davis Conference Center (1651 N. 700 West), Ogden’s Junction City Roller Dolls kick off their 2012 season with a home-teams bout between the Aftershocks and 2011 JCRD champions the Hilltop Aces. Doors at 6 p.m., bout at 7 p.m.; tickets and info: JCRDolls.com.
In Orem tomorrow, Spanish Fork’s Happy Valley Derby Darlins play their second bout of season against the traveling Nevada East Rollergirls at the UCCU Center (800 W. University Parkway). Doors at 6 p.m., bout at 7 p.m.; tickets at SmithsTix.
