Vindication: New Thursday suckfest The Paul Reiser Show rated nearly 50 percent lower than the “struggling” show it replaced, Perfect Couples, last night. Bring it back, NBC.
What’s new this weekend:|
The Whitest Kids U’Know (IFC, tonight) Season Premiere: The historical question answered tonight on the premiere of the fifth and final season of The Whitest Kids U’Know: What if Hitler had smoked weed? I know, shocker—a WKUK sketch about marijuana. Speaking of getting high and playing with time and space …
Fringe (Fox, tonight) The team works to get William Bell out of Olivia’s (Anna Torv) body. So many, many jokes here …
Friday Night Lights (NBC, tonight) Season Premiere: Read all about it in True TV (Item 3).
Also new tonight:
Shark Tank (ABC); Chaos (CBS); Kitchen Nightmares (Fox); Smallville, Supernatural (The CW); Sanctuary (Syfy); Real Time With Bill Maher, The Ricky Gervais Show (HBO); The Soup (E!)
Truth Be Told (Fox, Saturday) Movie: A single marriage conselor (Candice Cameron-Bure) hires a widower (David James Elliott) to pose as her husband so she can land a high-paying radio gig. What’s more unbelievable: That this is supposed to be a family-friendly production from some pseudo-Christian coalition, or that there such a thing as a high-paying radio gig?

Preview: Doesn’t the new Audrina show look amazing? She’s sooo interesting!
I pretty much missed both of these shows until recently when
I was browsing dishonline(dot)com—which is a really cool streaming site set up
by my employer, DISH Network. Anyway I can see why Fringe has good ratings, it’s
a really interesting paranormal show. I wish I would have gotten into it
earlier on, now I have a lot of catching up to do. I’m glad I was checking out
dishonline though, otherwise I may never have started watching Fringe. You
should check it out too, a lot of the content is even available to non-DISH
customers.
