A unique cultural-exchange program includes a performance of folk dances from around the world tonight.
The Utah Cultural Celebration Center hosts tonight's free performance, part of the WorldStage concert series. Folk musicians and dancers representing Romanian, Italian, Australian, Basque and Indonesian cultures -- in conjunction with the recently completed Bountiful-Davis Summerfest International -- have been staying with host families in a cultural exchange. And you can get a little taste of what those host families have been experiencing.
Doors open at 7 p.m. for the 8 p.m. performance. Additional opportunities to see the performers will be part of the South Jordan International Days and Salt Lake County Fair, Aug. 10 - 13.
