Posted // 2011-02-11 - If you're just hanging around this weekend wondering what to do with yourself, how about making a five-minute movie for a local filmmakers showcase?
For the second year, X96's Radio from Hell program is sponsoring a film festival to give support to the kind of "Open Mic" local film showcases the Tower Theatre has been running for a while now. But there are a few special rules for this festival: All films must be under five minutes in length. All must include a radio as a prop, handled by a character. And all must include the line "Don't you know who I am?" somewhere in the film.
Oh, and the submission deadline is Monday, Feb. 14. Or if you just want to come take a look at the results, join the party on Wednesday, Feb. 23, 7 p.m. at the Tower Theatre.
Hi I'm Ferb's father. Ferb listens to NPR all day and considers himself a "hipster". I tell him not to wear those insanely tight jeans and ironic t-shirts but he won't listen to me.
Thanks for sharing that with us Ferb. We now know that you don't care for X96.
I can't believe people still think X96 is interesting and/or relevant
