It's been an astonishingly cold January in Salt Lake City, and the inversion is as bad as ever. Crystal Hot Springs, which have been open since 1901, are a great place to get away and get warm very quick, and you can do it on the cheap. For just $12, you and up to five friends or family members can visit North America's highest-mineral-content hot springs with unlimited use for the day. Breaking down to $2 a person, this deal can't be beat.
A little over an hour's drive from Salt Lake City in Honeyville, at the foot of the Wasatch Mountains, the hot springs are great for a weekend getaway or even just a day trip to relax and soothe your muscles in the pools. The pools also have a waterslide area, great for bringing along the whole family. Camping is also available nearby, for those looking to extend their stay.
