This is what I become.
Utah County gets a bad rap. I understand the reasons and justifications for this opinion. I was born and raised in Provo and have lived there nearly all of my 24 years, minus about four years when I went to school at Southern Utah University. And, admittedly, if it were possible, I probably wouldn’t be living in Utah County. But circumstances as they are (the biggest of which is me being fantastically poor), I call Utah County home.

Specifically, this is where I call home.
The reason I get so annoyed with people feeling sorry for my current location is that Utah County isn’t that bad. Utah County as changed a lot over the years. And while the stereotype of it being Mormon central still rings true, for the most part, there are plenty of places to go and things to do for both Mormons and non-Mormons alike. You just need to know where to look.

It's like Where's Waldo? but with entertainment.
Thus, the idea of this blog was born. As the one-and-only Utah County resident on the editorial staff (albeit, in a temporary intern position), I’ll be bringing you the best places to check out if you ever find yourself south of the Point of the Mountain because there is stuff to do, believe it or not.
I'll look forward to this. I grew up in Chicago and I've lived here for 34 years. I have yet to find much of anything to do in the Valley. I work here, live here and go North of the point anytime I want to do just about anything.
