Bambara has launched a fun new series for food and wine lovers to mix and mingle. Their next "Sip & Savor Soiree" will be held on Wednesday, March 7, from 5:30 to 7 p.m.. The informal food-and-wine tasting will feature Kristin Belair from Honig Vineyard & Winery, and will be held in The Vault at Bambara (located in the Hotel Monaco).
"Our first soiree was such a success, and the casual, fun environment allowed guests to learn about wine and interesting food pairings," said Bambara's general manager, Guy Wheelwright. "There are no reservations required, so guests are advised to show up early and grab a seat."
Kristin Belair -- winemaker at Honig -- will present their Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon and 2006 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon, while Bambara executive chef Nathan Powers will create tasty bites to complement each wine.
The cost for the small plates pairing menu is $5 for the food and $15 for the wine selections, per person.
