This Friday, Feb. 24, at 6:30 p.m., Faustina restaurant will host a wine dinner featuring Katrina Fetzer from Ceago Biodynamic Wines of Clear Lake, California. --- The Ceago roster of wines runs from Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay to Syrah, Merlot, and even dessert wines like late harvest Semillon.
Faustina Executive Chef Billy Sotelo will prepare a four-course meal, paired with Ceago wines, as follows:
Open-faced shrimp ravioli - Ceago Chardonnay Reserve
Red pear salad with blood-orange vanilla vinaigrette - Ceago Syrah Rose
Pleasant Creek hangar steak with Italian kale, celery root puree, Cabernet demi sauce - Ceago Cabernet Sauvignon
Roasted apple tart with honey-vanilla gelato - Ceago Muscat
In addition, Ceago Sauvignon Blanc will be served upon arrival.
The cost is $35 per person for dinner and $20 for the optional wine pairings.
