Utah's Beehive Cheese Wins World Cheese Awards

This week, at the 22nd Annual World Cheese Awards in London, England, Utah's own Beehive Cheese Company walked away with two bronze medals. Beehive won bronze for both its Promontory Cheddar and Full Moon Cheddar cheeses, presented by the UK's prestigious Guild of Fine Food.

Full Moon is the raw milk version of Promontory Cheddar, which is made with pasteurized milk. "We are excited that our cheese has been recognized again in world competition. It is unbelievable to us how far we have come in such a short time. The awards have additional meaning as we were just in London absorbing the cheese scene and vibrant city. The recognition fuels our passion to continue making high quality and delicious cheeses" said Tim Welsh, Founder of Beehive Cheese Company.

Beehive Cheese Company and its retail store is located at 2440 E. 6600 South in Uintah, Utah, just off Highway 89. Phone 801-476-0900 for information or visit BeehiveCheese.com
