Based in Beaune, in the Burgundy region of France, La Maison Latour produces some of the world's best wines and has done so since the 17th Century. On Tuesday, December 7th, owner Eric DeBonis and The Paris Bistro will host Maison Latour and a wine dinner with a focus on chestnuts: Menu aux Chataignes.
Among the Louis Latour wines featured will be Montagny Premier Cru "La Grande Roche," Latour Aloxe Corton Premier Cru "Les Chaillots," Saint Veran "Les Deux Moulins" and others. The wines will be paired with dishes from the seven--course menu such as terrine de pate de campagne maison aux Chataignes, baked oysters with roasted chestnuts, potage aux chataignes et celeri rave au foie gras, ravioles de coq au vin aux chataignes et au foie gras and epoisse et chataignes.
Guillaume Akouka from Maison Louis Latour will be the guest of honor and will discuss the wines of Burgundy throughout the evening.
