Po boy Central

Just back from lunch at Spoony & Nata's Down Home Cafe, where I got my lips around the best shrimp po' boy I've eaten since I was last in New Orleans. Man, was that good!

Ditto the slowly-simmered gumbo, which big crab knuckles, bone-in chicken parts, sausage, and lots of other good stuff. And of course, you've gotta have red beans & rice on the side. 

Keep in mind, however, that this friendly joint closes up tight at 6:00 PM.

I agree whole heartedly! The food is absolutely spectacular and the service and friendlyness is definitey Southern Hospitality.
