Fans of the Beehive Tea Room love it for its overstuffed chairs, low tables, eclectic decor, loose-leaf teas, French-press coffee, beer, scones, sandwiches (the tuna salad is awesome), salads, soups and friendly vibe. Well, during the 2010 Sundance Film Festival the Beehive Tea Room will serve as the Sundance Film Festival Cafe in downtown Salt Lake City, sponsored by the Salt Lake Convention & Visitors Bureau and conveniently located between two film venues: The Rose Wagner Performing Arts Center and Broadway Theaters. It's a great spot for film goers and filmmakers alike to gather and converse in the vintage-style tea rooms.
From January 22 through January 30, the Beehive Tea Room will feature live music, from 7PM to 9PM nightly. Among the musical artists lined up to perform are the Red Rock Hot Club, Joey Cougar & The Starfish, This Passing Moment, The Precinct, Ashley Norton and Paul Jacobsen. The performances are free and open to the public.
