Glad You Asked: Zakk Wylde, Office Space and Stanton Warriors

Dear GYA, First off, I want to apologize for the film Armageddon. I can admit it wasn't very good and I can now say with all sincerity, Deep Impact was a way better movie. I would also like to apologize for neglecting to add plot and character development to my movies. It didn't seem like a big deal at the time, but in retrospect it was a mistake.--- But, if you little bastards think for one second I'm gonna apologize for Bad Boys II -- the movie that gave birth to the phrase, "Shit just got real!" and 'That's my Dawg!" -- then you can go to hell. Damn it, is there anything going on today that won't result in a Michael Bay apology? - Michael Bay  

Michael, You don't need to apologize for Armageddon. That film wasn't that bad. But, you should probably apologize for Pearl Harbor and maybe even for Pain and Gain in advance. Here's what's up for today:

For all you emotional metal heads, check out black-metal-God-turned-acoustic-sweetheart Zakk Wylde performing an acoustic set and reading from his new book at The Depot tonight at 9. Tickets are $35.

The DJ duo Stanton Warriors will be onstage at the Urban Lounge this evening. The Loki & Steez Show and Tink Fu are also on the bill. The show starts at 9. Tickets are $15 at the door.
