Dear GYA, Don't you hate it when you're hanging out with your friends and "MmmBop" by Hansen comes on and it keeps playing over and over again? Then you remember it's coming from one of your burned CDs entitled, "MmmBop times Infinity?" You know what I'm saying? It's tough. It's really, really tough. Anything happening today where it's OK to blast my jams? - Jamie Requina, Kearns---

Jamie, Playlists require careful thought and planning. It's important to remember to not overplay one song, even if it is Hansen's masterpiece. Here's a few options for today:

Legendary musician Marshall Crenshaw will be at The State Room tonight at 8. Tickets are $20.

The Utah Valley University Theater Department's presentation of The Imaginary Invalid will be happening tonight at the Noorda Regional Theatre. The show starts at 7:30.

Westminster College will be hosting an Evening of Brahms. Local chamber musicians Lun Jiang, Alex Martin, David Porter, Roberta Zalkind, Pegsoon Whang, Matthew Johnson, Karlyn Bond, Barlow Bradford and Michael Chipman perform songs and two of the most spectacular works of chamber music from the 19th century—the Piano Quintet in F Minor and String Sextet in B-flat Major. The show starts at 8 p.m.
