Glad You Asked: Tango, Matt Wilson and Clybourne Park

Dear GYA, Today, as you know, is Presidents' Day. Like every red-blooded American, I love this holiday, but I really wish we didn't have to celebrate all of the presidents. You know who I'm talking about -- yeah, Zachary Taylor. For real, he was  the biggest jerk to ever live in the White House. Anyway, anything happening today better than celebrating that pone-sniffer Zachary Taylor? -Don Weberhausen, West Valley City

Don, The thing about Presidents' Day is you can choose which president you want to celebrate. I like to celebrate the work of Grover Cleveland, mostly because he got stuck in a bathtub. Here's what's up for today:

Squatters will be hosting an Argentine Tango Class tonight at 7. Led by renowned dance instructor Nicholas Walker, practices are located in the loft space above the bar and are the held first through third Mondays of the month. Click the link for more info.

Matt Wilson and The Arts and Crafts Band will be performing at the Capitol Theatre this evening. The show starts at 7:30.  Tickets are $25 adults, $10 students. Call ArtTix at 801-355-ARTS.

At Pioneer Memorial Theatre, check out the production of Clybourne Park. This play is a fascinating, insightful and funny look at the way we talk about—or avoid talking about—race in America. The show starts at 7:30 p.m. Click here for tickets.
