Dear GYA, God, I got sooo crushed on Saturday night that I wasted my entire Sunday because of my hangover. Which means, of course, I didn't go to work yesterday. Was I too hungover to go to work? No, I just needed to have a replacement Sunday. Anything to do today now that I'm well-rested? - Bill Kloperenson, Systems Analyst, Provo---
Bill, It's important that one has a day to fully unwind, eat soft-batch cookies and argue with 14-year-olds on Call of Duty. I'm glad your replacement Sunday went well, though. Welcome to Tuesday; here's what's happening:
Cache Valley Center For The Arts will be showcasing DRUMLine Live. If you've seen the 2002 movie Drumline starring Nick Cannon, you know what to expect -- super funky Southern-style college marching bands. Mixing dance moves with traditional bugle-corp tunes, this unique stage show brings the Southern drumline tradition to the stage. The show starts at 7:30 p.m.
For some local stand-up comedy, check out Comedy Roadkill at The Complex. Every Tuesday, this free Comedy Showcase features the funniest up-and-coming comedians in Utah, followed by the best Open Mic in the state! The show starts at 8 p.m. (must be 21 to enter).
True TV and Brewvies will be showing a free screening of the latest episode of Justified tonight at 8.
