Dear GYA, I don't know who you are. I don't know what you want. If you are looking for ransom, I can tell you I don't have money. But what I do have is a very particular set of skills: Skills I have acquired over a very long career, skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you let my daughter go now, that'll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you don't, I will look for you, I will find you, and I will kill you. -Bryan Mills
Bryan, good luck aaaand I have no idea what the hell you're talking about. However, I will help you find your daughter. I would start out by checking out some of these worthwhile events today...
The Park City Restaurant Association will hosting its semi-annual Cocktail Contest at Cisero's Restaurante and Good Times Bar from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Local bars and restaurants will be competing for the coveted Park City's Signature Drink Award. Plus, City Weekly's food critic, Ted Scheffler, will be in attendance "judging" the drinks.
Don't forget that tonight is Subway night! Meaning, Real Salt Lake is taking on the Montreal Impact tonight at 7 p.m. at Rio Tinto Stadium. So basically, if you're on the eat-fresh diet you can score some uber-cheap tickets for tonight's match-up. Check it out here.
Head over to Urban Lounge to check out the Brooklyn indie duo Chairlift. They won a MTV Video Music Award (Best Breakthrough Video) for their single "Evident Utensil." But I'd say they're mostly known for their track "Bruises," which was featured in an iPod Nano commercial back in 2008. Nite Jewel is also on the bill. The show starts at 9 p.m.
More worthy events:
- Capital Theatre will be hosting NPR's Radiolab tonight at 7:30 p.m.
- Piper Down will be providing Kasino Karaoke tonight at 9 p.m.
- Acoustic singer Kort McCumber will be performing at Hog Wallow Pub tonight at 9:30 p.m.
