Glad You Asked: Reel Big Fish, Swinging Lights & Lorin Walker

Dear GYA, This year's Razzies were posted this morning and it comes as no surprise that After Earth, Grown Ups 2 and The Lone Ranger were all nominated, but Smurfs 2?! Shiiiiiii, come on now. Smurfs 2 may have had it's flaws, but it was way more g'd up than the original. Anything happening today as gangsta as Smurfs 2? I highly doubt it. - Francis Wooder, Park City---
Francis, if by "gangsta" you mean, "dog turd inspired" than you'd be correct, Smurfs 2 was way more gangsta than the original. Here's what's up for today:
Remember ska music? The Reel Big Fish will be at the Murray Theater this evening. Suburban Legends, Mighty Mongo, The Maxies and The Anchorage are also on the bill. Tickets are $18. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
Rock band The Swinging Lights will be at Kilby Court tonight. The 2:13s and Jennie Gautney will warm things up. The show is at 7 p.m. Tickets are $6.
Local band Lorin Walker Madsen will be on stage at Urban Lounge. Nathan Spenser Revue, Lebaron and Band on the Moon are also performing. The show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $5.
