'Big Black' in PC

Big News: “Big Black” in PC
Before Fantasy Factory, and before Drama started spinning at clubs, there was a little MTV show called Rob & Big that captured America’s heart. The Big from that show, aka Christopher “Big Black” Boykin, is coming to host Saturday Night Live (SNL) at Harry O’s (427 Main, Park City) Saturday. The party starts at 9 p.m. and doesn’t stop until Big says it does.

Going Ga-ga: Unofficial Gaga Afterparty
Lady Gaga only comes once every few years, like my ex-wife (rimshot, please), and she’s coming to town this weekend—Saturday, March 19, to be exact. The unofficial action takes place at the W Lounge (358 S. West Temple), within walking distance from the Glow Dome (aka EnergySolutions Arena)—and it’s sure to please. Lady Gaga will be remixed and re-celebrated with DJs Brent Vincent, Alastair, and more. It’s not just Gaga, though; other music will be played for nonmonsters to dance to, at W. Free entry with a Gaga ticket stub.

Jamming in The Marmalade: Fat Tuesday Style
Where else to go in town where the beads are classy and not made of cheap plastic? Club Jam (751 N. 300 West), of course. “The Gays, “ as we affectionately call them, know how to party, and party they did on Mardi Gras. They partied as if all their sins were forbidden during Lent. There’s a lot of Bible stuff we could throw in here, but any excuse to party is done right at this North Salt Lake venue.
