Believe & Be Happy

After listening to all the blame-game rhetoric going on [“Bleak Forecast,” Dec. 6, City Weekly], I have to ask: Why? Could it be that many are actually afraid of the truth because we ourselves are guilty of unconfessed sin? How about each one of us takes a giant flashlight and shines it into our own hearts and lives? That would be the perfect place to start.

Then we should be on guard and “flashlight” all lies that power-tripping people try so hard to sell us—evolution, global warming and the idea that the United States is a debtor nation.

The only way we become one of those is if we believe it.

I, for one, don’t believe it, because I believe God wants us to be a blessed nation, unified under him, free and happy. Believe what he wants for us in this country.
