Conflicts about homosexuality will not be resolved until gay-affirmative people publicly admit, despite impassioned claims to the contrary, that a significant number of gay people can change through therapy and firm resolve. The conflicts also will not be resolved until straight-affirmative people publicly admit, despite impassioned claims to the contrary, that a significant number of gay people cannot change in this life without a miracle or the gay person’s faith strongly strengthened by God himself.
