His vote against health-care reform sealed the deal. I’ll now welcome a primary challenge from a “real” Democrat.
Or, if that fails, I’ll vote for an independent or even Matheson’s GOP challenger in the general election. And I’ll do that despite probably voting for all the other Democrats on the ballot.
Oh, but maybe the GOP candidate will be Jim Matheson. I’m sure he’s already considering pulling a “Lieberman” or, more accurately, a “reverse Specter.” He really should be a Republican anyway, so why doesn’t he just get honest with himself and with the public and join the party he supports?
