If you didn’t get enough green-last week, take a glimpse into the future with a look at electric car technology! Ooh, shiny! Then cap off the week with a nice beginner’s workshop on living green with a conscience clean. But don’t forget also to check out a midweek event to remind you that some of the most dynamic letters in today’s revolutionary alphabet are still LGBT.

What’s new with the electric car Saturday, March 21
Whoever killed the electric car forgot to clean up their dirty work. That is according to experts like Trevor Sears from Silent Green Machines who will be talking about future developments in electric-car technologies as part of the City Library’s Go Green series. The event is free and open to the public.
Salt Lake City Main Library, 210 E. 400 South, March 21, 1 p.m. 801- 524-8200

Psychological Affect of Marriage Amendments: Implications for Salt Lake’s LGBT People, Their Families and Allies Tuesday, March 24
For those hoping to win hearts and minds on the sex preference and identity front, it helps to have good information in your arsenal. That’s why the Utah Pride Center is presenting evidence culled from three studies from 2006 into the psychological impacts that traditional marriage amendments have had on LGBT members and their families. No matter what side of the debate you fall on, this is an opportunity to examine research on the damage done by these amendments. Jenny Arm will also be providing coping strategies for those suffering from related negative side effects. Utah Pride Center, 361 N. 300 West, March 24, 7:30-8:30 p.m., 801- 539-8800, UtahPrideCenter.org
