Posted // September 22,2011 -

Ever realized that you’re not a fan of big government, but you’re also not a fan of morality police? If so, you may be a Libertarian! Find out more at this month’s Libertarian group meet-up. Later, you can attend a fundraiser by the Utah Society of Environmental Education group, which is seeking to get more green thinking in Utah’s classrooms. Finally, one of the Legislature’s final redistricting meetings will decide the fate of Utah’s political boundaries for the next decade.

Redistricting Committee
Monday, Sept. 26

The Legislature is at the very end of its redistricting process and may be finalizing a map of Utah’s new congressional districts at this meeting. It may be the last chance for the public to weigh in on how policy leaders will draw the boundaries that will determine who represents us in Washington, D.C., for the next decade.
