Legacy Speedway
I commute between Layton and Bountiful on Legacy Highway. If I observe the posted speed limit of 55 mph, I feel like I am standing still compared to the other drivers.
On a couple of occasions, Utah Highway Patrol officers sit in the median and watch, like all is well. Is the speed limit a law or a suggestion? If a suggestion, in our limited budgetary times we should avoid expenditures on replacing those that are damaged or putting up any new signs. If breaking the law is OK, I want to get in on the fun. Perhaps the speed limit change on the highway south from Lehi to St. George set our minds on this track.
