Mitt Romney’s 47 percent debacle (the surreptitiously filmed video of a Romney fundraiser in Florida) provoked conservative columnist Peggy Noonan to declare his campaign “incompetent.”
During a Sept. 23 interview on 60 Minutes, Romney was asked about this comment. He responded in a jocular manner, “That was not the campaign. That was me.”
Indeed.
