Did you participate in any extracurricular activities on your mission?
nnOne time, some church members saw my companion and me going to see X-Men. We had our nametags hidden beneath our coats, but they recognized us anyway. I was in the office one morning, and the president came in and asked how I liked the movie. I was always honest with the mission president, so I admitted I had gone. I told him it wasn’t that great, but if he wanted to see something good he should go see The Patriot, which I had also seen that week. He thanked me for the recommendation but asked me not to tell any other elders I was going to movies because he didn’t want them to think that was OK. The next week, I went and saw The Matrix, guilt-free.
