Perform any acts of salvation?

We were working with this family in Orlando. They had seven or eight kids, all of them under the age of 10. In true Florida fashion, the kids all ran around without shoes and most without clothes. The family had a pet iguana. He was about 3 feet long and as big around as a grapefruit. On a few occasions, I witnessed the kids torturing the poor thing. Upon closer inspection, I realized that all but a few of the spines along his back had been pulled out. When I learned that the family was moving I offered to “help” them out by taking the iguana off their hands, despite the fact that I was returning home very soon. I bought a $300 plane ticket for “Ziggy” and we both came back to Utah.
