Silver Linings Playbook
Two emotionally-crippled-but-scruffily-gorgeous mental cases (Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence) meet, hate each other, gradually fall in love and then teach us all Valuable Life Lessons—bring on all the shiny awards! (The Weinstein Co.)

Broken City
A tough, streetwise ex-cop (Mark Wahlberg, of course) sets out for revenge against the crooked NYC mayor (Russell Crowe, huh?) who framed him for A Crime He Didn’t Commit. Also starring Catherine Zeta-Jones as a dead body. (Fox)

Childrens Hospital: Season 4
This season, the staff of Childrens Hospital endures the mafia, assassinations, electrocutions, single moms and, worst of all, Madonna. Also featuring a British Childrens Hospital episode that’s still less ridiculous than Downton Abbey. (Warner Bros.)

The Details
When a perfect suburban couple’s (Tobey Maguire and Elizabeth Banks) life is turned upside-down by a band of rancorous raccoons, mayhem erupts and dark secrets are revealed. American Beauty meets The Great Outdoors? Sure. (The Weinstein Co.)

The Red Corvette
When high school good girl Cindy (Valerie Bauer) meets bad girl Bella (Katherine Mesa) in summer school, sparks fly and they’re off to the Big City for a night of sex, drugs and—wait for it—murder. There’s also a red Corvette involved. (Green Apple)
