21 Jump Street
When a pair of rookie cops (Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum) go undercover to bust a high school drug ring, violence, hilarity, more violence and Ice Cube ensue. Watch for Johnny Depp and the rest, but forget about Richard Grieco. (Sony)

The Artist
The sad-but-true tale of one dog’s battle for his silent-film career during the advent of talkies, plus some side drama from his washed-up actor sidekick (Jean Dujardin) and an overly obnoxious starlet-on-the-rise (Berenice Bejo). Woof! (The Weinstein Co.)

Mirror, Mirror
The next-to-latest take on Snow White & the Seven Dwarves stars Lily Collins as Snow, Julia Roberts as the horse she rode in on and a whole lotta real dwarves—not like the cartoons or that Huntsman movie. Stupid Huntsman movie. (Relativity)

Nina: Crazy Suicide Girl
A Satanic Italian cult is kidnapping young models, and only bounty hunter Nina (Irene Giordano) can save them by slicing up every Satanist, porn producer and thug in her path with a samurai sword. Fun for the whole family. (Chemical Burn)

A Thousand Words
Thanks to a New Age curse, an asshole literary agent (Eddie Murphy) can’t speak or he and a Bodhi(?) tree will die. Because nothing says box-office gold like a movie in which Eddie Murphy can’t say a word. (DreamWorks)
